Amazon Tax Analyst, Corporate Projects, International Indirect Tax Compliance Projects in London, United Kingdom

Description

To ensure precise alignment between indirect tax compliance requirements, system configurations, and operational processes, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of tax compliance and supporting corporate strategic initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

  • defining indirect tax compliance system requirements globally and ensuring that system implementations will meet those requirements

  • verifying indirect tax compliance processes

  • driving the implementation of new systems and tools for indirect tax compliance

  • working with stakeholders throughout Amazon including Accounting, FinTech, AP, AR to ensure indirect tax compliance system requirements can be met

  • Create and maintain comprehensive audit trails documenting requirements implementation

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

  • Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation software (e.g. Vertex) experience

  • Experience with VBA, Python, SQL, or other database language
