Key job responsibilities

Take a big-picture approach in analysis of business operations, driving improvements across a range of teams and organizations.

Create innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in the organization.

Build solutions that work at scale across the EU, leveraging existing teams’ knowledge and infrastructure.

Work alongside leadership teams to establish and prioritize integration opportunities, seeing them through from start to finish.

Ensure operational continuity, excellence and the ability to scale in partnership with stakeholders

A day in the life

As a Supply Chain Manager, you’ll focus on our end to end network often with a laser focus on a specific mile. You will look for opportunities to drive integration of Amazon Shipping into the existing network. You will need to influence multiple teams and will build expertise in the end to end network to ensure that integration is being built in a sustainable way. You’ll use strategic thinking to define, implement and influence. You’ll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership.

About the team

Amazon shipping offers Amazon’s logistic capabilities as a product and service. Amazon Shipping’s first customers are sellers in the UK, offering to ship their domestic volume using our delivery network.

This is a great opportunity to join an entrepreneurial business that is growing at pace. You will be part of the core team that will be managing the Amazon Shipping business and operations across all legs of the supply chain (first mile, middle mile and last mile). The team are focused on delivering friction free processes for end to end operations and a seamless absorption into our existing network.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Experience in supply chain

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Experience leading process improvements
