Do you want to create the best customer experience and marketing campaigns for Amazon’s Payment Products and develop and grow exciting credit products in Europe?

Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to grow our newly launched co-branded credit cards in Europe and own marketing strategy to enhance the customer experience, acquire new customers and engage with existing customers – with focus on the UK market. There might be an opportunity to also own projects for the German market.

The Amazon Payments team creates and manages a global portfolio of payment products such as co-branded credit cards, gift cards or instalment products. We are continuously adding new products, market-leading features and product innovations to our portfolio. It is a fast-growing business with a mission to delight customers by building payment experiences and financial services that are trusted, valued and easy to use.

You will be responsible for the Marketing for co-branded credit cards, developing and implementing the product marketing strategy, analyzing data and running tests to identify key trends, as well as managing ongoing marketing activity to help improve traffic, conversion and customer experience.

The role will work closely with in-country business and product teams, international BI and Tech teams, and external banking partner and agencies. As the ideal candidate, you are an effective leader and communicator to work with key stakeholders across multiple teams. In this role you are expected to both think strategically (generating bold and innovative ideas) and execute flawlessly (launching and optimizing campaigns through various merchandising tools and channels, analyzing traffic data and solving problems). You bring enthusiasm for the payment experience and creativity to challenge our way of thinking. You have multiple years of experience in (digital) Marketing and Customer Experience, launching different marketing channels and conducting market researches. You are not only an experienced Marketing Manager, but also a storyteller who can position our products and features to our broad customer base. It's not a requirement, but an advantage if you have experience in the payments, banking or financial services industry.

This role will be based in Amazon’s office in London, UK (preferred), or Munich, Germany.

Key job responsibilities

• Shape the future of Amazon’s payment products landscape in Europe with a focus on Amazon.co.uk

• Enhance the customer experience and conversion rates of payment products, particularly our co-branded credit cards

• Define and implement marketing strategies, and create and test marketing campaigns both on and off Amazon

• Use customer data and analytics to challenge and improve marketing campaigns

• Monitor and improve performance metrics and recommend actions to drive business goals

• Work with Tech teams to be the voice of marketing, influencing and aligning on the broader roadmap to launch enhancements and features

• Work with Data Science and Data Engineers to enhance custom reports and functionality to bring operational efficiencies

• Collaborate with other internal and external teams including bank partners

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

  • Experience in marketing or marketing research

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
