Senior Security Specalist - Security Engineering

Job Description:

We are on the hunt for a Senior Security Specialist to join our Security Engineering team and assist the business align with our Security strategy. This is an opportunity to play a key role in building enterprise security solutions that involve Cloud and On-premises infrastructure. You will develop the vision, principles, strategy and roadmap for Cybersecurity Architecture, covering people, process and technology as part of the Security engineering team. You will create and design security for systems and services, maintain security documentation, and develop architecture patterns and security approaches to new technologies in the cloud and on-prem. As a Kubernetes Security SME, you will be providing guidance for design and architecture of Kubernetes clusters at a massive scale for an innovative and progressive organization that operates at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the vision, principles, strategy and roadmap for Cybersecurity Architecture, covering people, process and technology as part of the Security engineering team

• Provide design and implementation expertise on Kubernetes for the solutions that are being built in the cloud.

• Develop and maintain Security architecture documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and best practices.

• Implement rapid POCs and Pilots of new capabilities to demonstrate feasibility of new solutions including different Cloud solutions including but not limited to Container security and CWPP/CSPM.

• Automate the security tools and tasks to reduce the complexity and increase the efficiency.

• You will understand the developments in the CNCF community and have a strong understanding of the overall CNCF ecosystem. You will present solutions to stakeholders to better educate them and help in the decision-making process for using the right technologies for solving the right problems.

• Advocate for and implement the shift-left approach in our security practices, emphasizing the importance of addressing security early in the development lifecycle.

• Assist other Information Security teams with evaluating technology to ensure adherence to developing standards and technical integration with current capabilities.

• Provide solutions for any security-related challenges and extend support for intricate security operations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years overall cloud security experience

• 1-2 years in cloud security architecture

• Confident working across functional teams

• Expertise providing support across product teams, IT Infrastructure, legacy, on prem and cloud.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes

• Sound understanding of Zero Trust security framework and industry approach.
