A day in the life
As a Senior Program Manager, you’ll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programs. You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely, depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks.
Senior Program Managers have significant responsibilities, and you’ll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.

At AMZL Europe, we deliver millions of packages daily to customers at record speed and quality. The work that Launch and Expansion do is at the heart of that. Our relentless ambition is to make AMZL Europe more and more cost-effective and customer centric. We’re doing that by improving our existing network, inventing new and creative ways of making last-mile delivery more efficient, and optimizing the development of our Under the Roof and On Road Infrastructure. Within the team we have a variety of roles. Typical examples include program managers responsible for selecting and launching new sites, planners working out how we solve challenges such as low emission zones and EV charging, strategy teams looking at how we get the most out of our existing buildings, and analysts using data to deliver powerful insights into how we work and how we should be working.

Basic Qualifications
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience in program or project management
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
Experience leading process improvements
