At Global Mile, our vision is to become the first choice for all of our Selling Partners cross-border shipping needs, offering a complete set of end-to-end cross border solutions and supporting the business who use Amazon to grow their business globally.
We have Strategy and Forecasting, Sales and Marketing, Analytical functions, and work with a large product and tech team, globally.
As we expand, the need for comprehensive understanding for seller behaviour and robust demand forecasting to aid decision making on asset utilization in the face of demand variability and operational excellence becomes vital. We are investing in enhanced data and improved modelling techniques and are now in need of an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and manage our forecasting and scenario planning function.
Key job responsibilities
The role will oversee coordination of multiple inputs from sales and operations teams, analytical models, and other macro factors. Outputs are crucial for multiple teams to plan their operations effectively. The program manager will be in charge of creating a process that will scale with our organization.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
