It begins with a Card Member using an American Express Card at one of our millions of Merchants around the world – the rest is up to us. The Network and Acquirer Solutions team (NAS) is the heart of the American Express Enterprise, powering billions of transactions through the global payments processing network that we develop and manage.
NAS is unique within the Enterprise. We work across almost every American Express business unit as well as external partners, providers, and key industry stakeholders. We are known to be intellectually curious and problem solvers as we tackle the most imperative initiatives facing the payments industry today.
The Network Delivery team within NAS delivers new technical solutions to meet the evolving demands of global payment networks and adapt to local needs while ensuring continued global interoperability. This enables the Enterprise to attract new customers, operate in new markets, react to changing regulatory demands, and process new types of payments. A role in the Network Delivery team will challenge you to broaden your skillset and industry acumen in a collaborative, diverse and inclusive team environment.
How will you make an impact in this role?
We are looking for a talented Product Delivery and Integration Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing end to end cross functional delivery of products across technologies and product teams. This product delivery and integration manager will define and deliver capabilities on the Network Product strategic roadmaps.
The incumbent will play an influential role working closely with New Payment Product Owners, Network Capability workstream leads and owners and other Stakeholders to drive program outcomes that increase delivery predictability and continue to enable best-in-class product delivery for the organization. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about and can lead agile delivery in a highly complex fast changing environment.
Drive the delivery of Product roadmaps focused on deliverables and outcomes.
Be the main point of contact from initiative inception to delivery for Network teams and Stakeholders.
Program manage teams to plan and execute to Product roadmaps, manage, and escalate issues and risks to ensure on time and on capacity delivery while reporting on progress.
Ensure value-delivery and proper sequencing of initiatives to meet or exceed expectations.
Contribute to the investment decision and capacity allocation processes through input to sequencing and highlighting other delivery considerations including dependencies.
Collaborate and drive buy-in from key downstream stakeholders.
Document and maintain plans through partnership with the product/business leadership and all key stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes & experience:
Program Management experience developing and managing complex programs/projects/products
Superb communication and collaboration skills across multiple Band levels, locations, and time zones
A Problem solver, an Agile thinker and keen learner
Ability to translate strategy into clear and specific objectives and plans.
Passion for sharing knowledge and understanding
Experience managing the full product management lifecycle that requires a deep understanding of business domain and dependencies in payments or e-commerce - a plus
Experience in SAFe Agile - a plus
Bachelor degree or higher - a plus
