Citigroup Senior Executive Assistant to the Global Head of Commercial Bank in London, United Kingdom

This role provides administrative and execution support to the Global Head of CCB, ensuring diligence, appropriate judgment and discretion at all times across a broad and dynamic range of work. Together with the CCB Chief of Staff, the role includes daily interaction with the offices of senior management across the firm, including frequent contact with internal and external stakeholders as required by the Global Head of CCB. This role offers the candidate a unique position to support a global business leader during an exciting time for Citi’s leading banking franchise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with the CCB Chief of Staff across all administrative activity that supports the operation of the Global Head of CCB’s office

  • Manage all scheduling activity end-to-end, including prioritisation and the timely resolution of diary conflicts, across a diverse and senior stakeholder base

  • Execute all ancillary activity associated with scheduling, including room bookings, refreshments and associated support requests to ensure the smooth running of business activity

  • Seamlessly manage all travel arrangements for the Head of CCB, including proactive outreach, booking and amendments needed to support the overall objectives of the trip

  • Accurate completion of all post-trip administration, including the closure of all associated expenses and various internal governance processes to the satisfaction of the Head of CCB

  • Proactive ordering and approval of associated supplies through the Procure to Pay (P2P) system

  • Additional duties are likely to be assigned as needed in order to maintain the successful operation of the Head of CCB’s office

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of supporting the office of a senior business leader

  • The ability to adapt to a range of competing priorities with a professional and committed mindset, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail

  • An ability to act with the utmost discretion at all times and manage confidential matters with requisite care

  • Proven ability to communicate accurately, both orally and written; brevity is key

  • Exceptional judgement, particularly the ability to know when to escalate

  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to create and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

  • Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, particularly SharePoint and Word

  • Prior knowledge of Citi, including internal organisation and structure, would be a significant benefit
