Amazon Senior Engagement Marketing Manager, Fire Tablets in London, United Kingdom

Description

The Amazon Fire Tablet team is looking for a professional, experienced Marketing Manager who will define and own customer engagement and monetisation. The role will own building engagement programs based on data driven insights and optimising them to ensure customers unlock maximum value from their Fire Tablets.

You will be the owner of all communication channels on Fire Tablets, and you'll drive how other teams (Like Kindle, and Prime Video) use these channels, by setting guardrails, identifying improvements and learnings from WW teams, and implementing them for customers in Europe.

Key job responsibilities

  • Analyse highly ambiguous data from various areas to distil campaigns which drive High Value Actions.

  • Work with teams world-wide to identify the metrics and distil ideal behaviours to improve customer engagement on devices (the behaviours can impact areas like out-of-box-experience, feature discovery, and interactions with Amazon’s other services like Kindle, Audible, and Prime Video).

  • Influence multiple internal teams, to drive engagement and improve monetisation.

  • Create and navigate shared goals with content teams, negotiate resources, and influence partner team roadmaps.

  • Build and manage the full lifecycle of complex marketing initiatives, from strategy to measurement, with limited guidance.

  • Own the monetisation goals to improve P&L.

About the team

The Fire Tablets team owns Sales, Marketing, Go-To-Market (GTM) and Monetisation for Fire Tablets across EU markets. We aim to provide customers with the best value from the tablets, and we obsess over the customer experience, by starting at product definition stage, communications in the GTM stage and ensuring we listen to customer feedback post purchase. We are a small team, driving high-impact for our customers in Europe, with end-to-end ownership of our customers' journey.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

  • Experience in marketing or marketing research

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
