What the day will look likeYour main responsibilities as a Senior Account Manager will include:
Providing a pro-active approach to ensure efficient handling of our client’s needs
Working in partnership with Account Executives and broking team in the marketing of placing reinsurance, involving communication with clients and reinsurers
Analysing client requirements to identify an appropriate scope of insurance coverage and providing advice to clients and colleagues and assist them with the interpretation of clauses
Compiling and analysis of data necessary for the preparation of market submissions and presentations and market sheets for the quotation and placement phases
Resolving queries received from clients and reinsurers – liaising with colleagues within other departments as necessary.
Populating and maintenance of data within Aon’s IT systems, generating and reviewing of contractual documentation including final documentation to confirm coverage to clients
Liaising with Premium advocates to ensure all premiums are paid on time and organising chasing where appropriate
Liaising with Claims advocates to ensure all claims are paid promptly
Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company Skills and experience that will lead to success
Your skills and expertise:
Proven track record of working as an Account Manager or Contract Expert and have an excellent understanding of the (re)insurance market
Be educated to A level standard or equivalent
Strong experience in managing effective client and reinsurer relationships
Great data analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation skills and ability to work as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail
High level of IT competency (Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
Demonstrate integrity and professionalism

Your skills and expertise:
