About our Team
The Reaxys Product team needs a high performing, knowledgeable and experienced Product Manager who works on the cross section of Machine Learning and Chemistry data within drug discovery. The Product Manager will be a vital player for the future success of Reaxys. This person is expected to be a strategic, hands-on leader with the ability to create robust SaaS based and data intensive products needed by a new generation of customers while still servicing existing stakeholders.
About the Role
We seek a Product Manager who will leverage market research and proactively engage with industry segments and new customer.
Responsibilities
Driving predictive retrosynthesis solution product strategy and vision, including formulation and validation of roadmap requirements and feature delivery
Partnering and work closely with the Reaxys Technology and Engineering team for product lifecycle management
Interacting with customers and industry experts, and collaborate closely with Elsevier’s cross-functional teams to develop the requirements, roadmap, design and execute go-to-market strategies
Developing go-to-market plans, including sales enablement, product launches, website presence, social media, product demos, webinars, case studies, usage activation, and win-loss analysis
Listening to customers (internal and external) to identify, plan and develop new products e.g. work with external partner(s) to enhance predictive retrosynthesis solution by addressing key customer needs in a timely fashion
Leveraging chemistry and medicinal chemistry data for the development of other reaction-based predictors and ADMET predictors
Requirements
Experience as a Product Manager for SaaS products or Information Solutions creating products with subscription models
Experience of working with pharmaceutical and chemical companies as well as academia
Possess a Master's in Synthetic Organic Chemistry
Have a proven track record of success with product strategy, road map development, product rollouts/Go-to-market strategies (incl. pricing, packaging and positioning) and living the “What customers want” philosophy
