Your opportunity

  • The role will provide support to senior members of the fund accounting and financial reporting team

  • Perform management level review & proof reading of financial statements across the Janus Henderson product ranges. UK OEIC, Luxembourg SICAV, Ireland OEIC, Investment Trusts and Hedge Funds. Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, local regulations and EU Directives is critical.

  • Attend fund board meetings, presenting financial statements for board approval.

  • Assist with the resolution of queries and issues raised by internal & external parties.

  • Assist the wider team with queries and resolution on areas which include, distribution rate review, expense monitoring, OCF review (UCITS & PRIIPS), board paper preparation.

  • Assist with the termination/revocation process of closed funds with the TPA and other parties.

  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

    Must have skills

  • Extensive Fund Accounting and Fund Financial Reporting experience.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Takes responsibility for tasks, actions;

  • Applies sound judgement;

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to establish good working relationships with Stakeholders.

  • Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Enthusiastic, approachable and able to work well across team

  • Good working knowledge of Excel

    Nice to have skills

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification

  • Experience of role overseeing third party provider
