Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence or a military role or equivalent private sector experience.
Experience in a dynamic organization.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems.
Experience of critical thinking, analytical, and decision making skills.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy.
From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
Collect, evaluate, escalate and disseminate intelligence to support action plans based on credibility and likelihood - GSOC Watch Officer Remit.
Provide intelligence support to the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in incident response, crisis management and global travel management - GSOC Watch Officer Remit.
Support escalations for Global Security Operations Center and the network of Global Security Service Centers.
Report writing creation in line with the existing GSOC process for higher risk incidents.
