Support the Retail Director, International and the wider team. Ensure International KPI reports and PPTs are kept updated and own the evolution of these to reflect current strategies and trends.
Provide guidance, training and coaching to the regions in order to achieve sales growth and ensure consistent brand execution & development of retail competencies, from offices to fields, taking into account local specifics, and act as a Brand guardian. Learn to understand consumer and market needs; ensure JML Global Retail is addressing them – across retail programmes, training, workshops, etc. Strong collaboration and relationship building between Global functions.
Support Retail operation specific business needs and champion Like for Like strategy
Follow up on Retail operation action points after senior management and VP International market visits.
Maintenance of all International KPI report
- Support international retailer meetings, with International Marketing, prepare agenda and presentations
Assist Retail Operations team in managing sales reporting, KPI and administration. Improve the operational policies by key format (focus FSS, Micro-format).
Consolidate monthly sales and KPI compilation and reporting – counter equation, etc
Use of SAP/BI to generate reports for analysis.
Strong communicator between Global, Regions and other members of the JML team
Contribute to Traffic drivers guidelines to sustain healthy LFL
Aspire to become the Retail expert - information/competition/initiative
Share Retail 'best practices' and 'lessons learned' with all Regions to optimize competitive stance and brand performance.
Periodically visit locations in the region and assess the level of consistency and quality of execution; report findings and elaborate recommendations
Financial & Business Development
- Support the Director to implement Retail strategy to break through in new channels and sustain growth in Emerging Markets; focus on high potential APAC markets, the expansion in LATAM, focusing on Brazil.
Cultural sensitivity in dealing with colleagues globally.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
Team player with ability to interface with many departments.
Preparation of presentation materials (Powerpoint, Excel sheets etc)
Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and seasoned communication skills (written and verbal)
Highly proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; must be comfortable in acquiring new computer skills
