Amazon Talent Acquisition in London is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Director of International Executive Recruiting.
The successful candidate will have professional experience as an Executive Assistant, managing complex calendars and partnering closely with their executives. You will be highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities. You will possess the ability to complete tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, be able to take effective action without having to know the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult problems that affect people within the department or other related groups.
This position requires high levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior executives. You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and will be tech-savvy, resourceful, and a creative problem solver.
Lastly, this position requires the capacity to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships, and a good sense of humor.
Key job responsibilities
Managing complex calendar requests, meeting invites and conference room logistics
Planning international and domestic travel
Processing expense reports
Managing large event logistics, catering, accommodations, and materials (e.g., business writing courses, All Hands events, etc.)
Improving morale, helping recognize outstanding efforts, having fun at work, and encouraging others to do the same
Attending key meetings, tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables, and following up on outstanding items
Driving team activities (e.g., staff meeting agendas, weekly business reviews, team-building events, launch events and recognition posters)
Managing workflows that require approvals
Identifying internal and external approaches to solve problems in a creative way
Act as a liaison for direct reports
Management of team space, including moves and reconfiguration
Work closely with the leadership team, recruiting and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization

Basic Qualifications
Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
High school or equivalent diploma
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
Experience with executive level calendar management
Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing multiple calendars
Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
