Please note: Part time Job Share - 3 days per week (office based). The role is FTC up to 12 months to cover maternity leave. The role is London based but will also entail travel to Peterborough as required.

The role: As HR Business Partner, you will report to a People Director and join a team of highly motivated and hardworking individuals, partnering The Finance, Legal and Corporate Affairs teams that are based in our London Bridge and Peterborough offices. As a highly trusted and credible BP, you will work closely with the senior leaders of the Finance and Corporate teams to deliver the outcomes of our people plan by coaching and advising managers across a range of HR activities including employee relations, change management, performance management and engagement.

Day to day you will:

  • Build lasting partnerships with key partners to enable the delivery of the people plan

  • Coach and advise managers on a range of complex and challenging people matters

  • Plan, coordinate and implement restructures and change management projects

  • Educate and guide managers on performance management, including leading appraisal discussions, feedback and coaching, and motivating teams for success

  • Support the execution of org design and transformation initiatives as we progress our agenda to be a digital first business

What we’re looking at from you:

  • You are passionate about HR and are an advocate of what can be achieved when the business and HR partner to build long lasting programmes that have impact

  • You adapt quickly to change and thrive in an environment where ambiguity is a constant

  • You are a commercial and pragmatic partner to the business and have worked in different and challenging environments

  • Possess a generalist HR background covering but not limited to employee relations, performance management and coaching

  • CIPD qualified would be advantageous, although it's more important that you have worked in this role rather than have the qualification
