Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Flutter App Developer with some experience of full stack development. As a Flutter Developer, you will be responsible for delivering the product vison, collaborating closely with UX designers, researchers and backend focused full stack engineers. You will be obsessed with quality and embedding automated tests which protect the flow of changes to our customers.
What you’ll be doing
Develop and maintain mobile applications using Flutter
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define project requirements and translate them into functional applications
Optimise application performance and ensure responsiveness across different devices and screen sizes
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Troubleshoot and debug issues, and propose solutions to improve application performance and user experience
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Flutter, AI, and 3D AR/VR technologies, and actively expand knowledge in these areas
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and innovative mobile solutions
Skills and Experiences
Essential
Proven experience in mobile application development using Flutter and a strong understanding of Dart programming language
Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate through proof of concepts
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with RESTful Services and OpenAPI advantageous
Have a good level of knowledge / experience of Agile software development, and supporting best practices: BDD, TDD, Pair Programming etc
Nice to have
Some exposure to AI concepts and an eagerness to learn and work with AI technologies
Some familiarity with creating 3D worlds and a basic understanding of AR/VR development
Some understanding with unity, unreal or similar
Having participated in hackathons or made contributions to open-source projects would be a big plus
