Citigroup Event Marketing Roadshow Manager in London, United Kingdom

Role Introduction / Overview:

Deliver complex roadshow logistics for Citi businesses in their relations with existing clients and in new client engagement and development across Citi.

Team/Role Overview

Colleague and Client Services strategically delivers services and experiences that enhance how clients, colleagues and alumni perceive Citi. The team comprises of the Alumni Network, Center for Culture, Global Event Marketing and Global Hospitality Services.

The Global Event Marketing team is comprised of dedicated professionals and skilled event managers who work across regions and businesses to create, plan, and execute meetings/events that achieve business goals while optimizing expenses, based on the strategy and content determined by the business.

What you’ll do

  • Manage all components for all Roadshows handling all logistics (to include invitations, suppliers, air, ground transportation, hotel accommodation, venues, banqueting and onsite management). full production for virtual and hybrid Roadshows

  • Provide advice on most logical routes for optimal scheduling of dates and countries allocated to a Roadshow.

  • Ensure and execute compliance of Firm's policies concerning governance, compliance, audit and risk, and control.

  • Ensure adherence to all information security policies for virtual platforms and solutions.

  • Maintain data integrity within the Roadshow management database and provide appropriate metric analysis.

  • Total project management from inception to completion of Roadshow including full management and closure of event files.

  • Drive and collaborate on ad-hoc projects or partnerships in addition to Roadshow management.

  • Participate in the strategic vision of the group.

  • Experience in managing large, complex, and high-profile Roadshows, Bank Meetings in a live, hybrid and virtual format with a range of attendees and functionality, simultaneously without supervision.

  • Extensive understanding and experience of, with a developed network in the events market and trends in EMEA

  • Excellent experience in sourcing, contracting, and managing suppliers.

  • Exceptional negotiation skills with quantitative and analytical skills

  • Exceptional and considered communication and presentation skills (verbal & written)

  • Team player, willing to work with colleagues and external partners collaboratively towards a common goal with diplomacy, confidentiality, and high professionalism.

  • Highly productive time management with ability to assimilate, analyse and act on information quickly.

  • Proven client facing interpersonal skills, diplomacy and influencing without authority.
