We're seeking a dynamic Technical Lead who brings a balance of creativity, focus and determination to the team. As a Lead, you'll recruit world-class groups of people capable of bringing virtual reality to life while also managing a small team of recruiters. We're passionate about delivering an awesome candidate experience at each stage of the conversation by lending genuine insight into the culture, mission and challenges.

Your work will have a direct impact on the team, culture, and identity of Oculus.The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 6 years recruiting experience with large/rapidly growing technical organizations. This individual will know how to manage, mentor, and guide a team of recruiters through the entire recruiting lifecycle while also working closely with our leaders to drive world class recruiting practices and strategy.

Required Skills:

  1. Provide innovative, scalable solutions to drive our hiring to meet FB business objectives

  2. Design customized and executable staffing plans while building excellent relationships with the recruiting team and client groups

  3. Facilitate and lead meetings and key initiatives and projects with recruiting team and client groups

  4. Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the EMEA Oculus Recruiting team

  5. Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally

  6. Compile & analyze data and metrics to support business decisions and plans as necessary

  7. Experience in recruiting for specialized niche or complex roles

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years recruiting experience with large or growing technical organizations

  2. Proven leadership experience guiding international recruiting teams in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment

  3. Experience with both 'hands on" recruiting as well as management

  4. Broad knowledge of compensation and general HR requirements

  5. Strategic thinker with exceptional data analysis and analytical skills

  6. Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally 'Creativity in problem-solving and resourcefulness

  7. Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills

  8. Desire to succeed, take initiative, and further the success of a highly functional recruiting team

  9. Experience partnering with senior leadership and executive teams on hiring initiatives

  10. Passionate about Facebook and knowledge of our products and business
