Tradeweb Director - Operations Management in London, United Kingdom
Group Details
You will be managing Tradeweb’s European Market Support, Clearing and Settlement teams which support and operate Tradeweb’s cutting edge electronic trading and regulatory reporting platforms. Clients across 65 countries use these platforms to trade $780 billion daily. You and your team will be responsible for continued growth and operational excellence of the platform.
This is a mission critical role calling for many talents including: great communication, problem solving and a clear head under pressure. A willingness to understand the end-to-end system, dig in and lead by example is imperative in being successful in this role along with a key focus on talent development.
Job Responsibilities
Manage the team responsible for interactions with dealers regarding production and UAT systems, troubleshooting issues, connectivity, enhancements and product and protocol implementations.
Manage the team responsible for customer and dealer clearing and settlements.
Look for opportunities to improve and implement processes and procedures, potentially with automation.
Ensure top level customer service and understand priorities and impact.
Understand and mitigate operational risk.
Lead the team with a focus on collaboration, communication and career development by assessing and developing continual training needs of team members
Knowledge of the platform, protocols and how the team interacts with third parties is crucial in understanding and resolving issues
Communicate effectively with internal groups to drive consensus on business direction, seek input and share knowledge
Qualifications
Significant operations experience in financial markets
An experienced team lead / manager
Bachelor’s Degree completed or relative work experience required.
Ability to think creatively, strong problem-solving skills and results driven.
Solid track record of customer service / client facing skills.
Understanding front / middle / back-office workflow.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated experience in fixed income markets.
Strong and proven analytical / problem-solving skills, time management skills and multi-tasking skills.
