What Is the Opportunity?

Travelers Europe is looking for a Delegated Authority Operations Consultant to join our London team.

You will be responsible for supporting the operational aspects of delegated authority arrangements. This role involves monitoring third-party data, ensuring its accuracy and providing analytical support to optimise delegated authority operations.

Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.

This role is eligible for a £1,500 new joiner referral bonus. If you are successfully referred by an employee at Travelers Europe, both you and the person who referred you could be eligible for this bonus.

What Will You Do?

  • Be responsible for reviewing all Delegated Authority EPI, Claim and Premium data. Apply critical thinking to identify errors in the data and find solutions to ensure that the source system is accurate prior to publishing reports.

  • Manage the process of ensuring that all Planning lines are reviewed at least monthly. Hold underwriters and operations to account for completing associated tasks in an agreed timeframe.

  • Support the effective running of the Binder and Linselip reviews. Take accurate minutes and record all actions. Be responsible for closing out or escalating all actions.

  • Assist the DASS team in the regular collection and validation of internal, market and customer documents to support the Due Diligence process.

  • Support the delivery of training to the Offshore team and support the completion of any updates required for the Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Respond to queries from offshore operations in a timely fashion.

  • Build relationships and influence with Brokers and Coverholders where appropriate.

  • Provide recommendations to senior managers on how to continuously improve our EPI and Premium collection performance for Lloyd's business

  • You will need to achieve or exceed agreed timeliness and accuracy service level agreements within the Syndicate as outlined within the European Operation's Service Agreement document.

  • As an employee you are expected to act in an ethical manner at all times. You will ensure you understand all compliance and regulatory requirements for your role by completing all necessary training and certifications.

  • As an employee we expect your actions and outcomes will at all times meet local regulatory and supervisory approaches to ensure fair treatment of our customers. You will ensure you keep adequate records of all transactions undertaken with customers, brokers and all other parties.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
