Key Responsibilities
Complete daily walk round of site to confirm healthy status of all plant and equipment.
Complete PPM of all electrical and mechanical systems to adhere to set engineering standards. All in accordance with Health & Safety at Work Act requirement with SFG20 guidance where applicable using site specific CAFM system to close out.
Undertake site inductions, ensure LOA or PTW is in place and RAMS of all visitors and sub- contractors, prior to any works taking place
Undertake site escort duties where applicable to all site visitors.
Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification.
Respond to reactive installation works.
Respond to Emergency breakdowns and remedial works as required.
Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments
Carry out weekly testing of all Safety Systems as directed. (Various testing out of hours as required)
Carry out plant room inspections and cleaning as per site schedule.
Assist with the monitoring of BMS Trend alarms for EMEA and APAC when BMS Operative unavailable.
Monitor energy consumption, record readings where applicable, be proactive in energy saving.
Adhere to all site safety and security procedures
Carry out checks and inspections of electrical/mechanical services, plant and systems.
Carry out GVP weekly load readings taken and down loaded onto the Client drive
Update the Client SDSK prior to any works taking place.
Proactively seek opportunities to facilitate continuous improvement to site, plant and equipment standards.
Provide appropriate holiday cover to the team to assist each engineer to take their full annual allowance.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Education M&E background essential with C&G or equivalent qualifications. Apprenticeship preferred.
Training Knowledge and experience with HV, Water treatment, WAH, PTW, Risk assessment, LOTO, preferable.
