The Job

As Copywriter you will develop compelling messaging and concise storytelling for all WarnerMedia platforms, channels and brands. You'll write and edit copy for a wide variety of projects including print, video, web, mobile, and social media, working closely with the Creative Lead. You'll champion collaboration with client departments (Marketing, Programming) and support and inspire creative professionals within the in-house Creative Agency with compelling and tailor-made messages for a wide variety of projects/campaigns.

The Daily

  • Brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop compelling messaging for all WarnerMedia brands and channels, including HBO and HBO Max

  • Create nuanced storytelling for various platforms and communication channels, with a deep understanding of the subtle tone-of-voice changes that characterize each medium

  • Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audiences and drives action

  • Read and analyse various target groups, audience personas, research materials/statistics, and comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the project/campaign/platform

  • Ideate and collaborate on promotional assets and campaigns supporting brand, content, marketing, and commercial strategies, helping clients achieve their goals whilst raising the bar in creative innovation

  • Constantly improve understanding of the WarnerMedia portfolio of channels, brands and service identities, plus differences by territory

  • Closely collaborate within the Agency across all verticals – tapping into specialised skills and nuanced knowledge (audiences, cultures, platform specifics, etc.)

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends

The Essentials

  • Proven professional experience of copywriting within the media industry, or an advertising, creative or digital agency

  • Excellent in interpreting, conceptualizing creative briefs, highly skilled in revising copy based on internal and client feedback and direction

  • Experience working across a variety of audiences and touchpoints with an understanding of digital platforms, formats and analytics

  • Keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design

  • Deep understanding of brand and marketing goals in creative assignments

  • Ability to present and pitch creative concepts to clients

  • Thrives working in a multicultural, diverse environment with a cooperative working style

  • Team player with a cooperative working style

  • Additional European language skills would be a plus
