Position Overview
The Private Markets Investor Relations Team is a niche coverage group providing client service and operational support for the firm’s alternative funds. The team’s mandate is to partner with various internal teams as well as external fund administrators, to provide our private fund investors with a consistent client service experience. This requires a deep understanding of the product as well as operational process flow oversight and execution. The Client Service Analyst scope of work will include ownership of the subscription/redemption process, day-to-day management of client inquiries and requests, management of our fund administrator relationships, and production and dissemination of client/regulatory/shareholder services reporting as well as investor communications. The Analyst will be an integral part of the team performing various operational and client service functions as described below:
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with coordinating client on-boardings and transfers/name changes
Work with the team in resolving client queries and liaise with internal teams to source solutions;
Assisting with audit requests;
Working with Fund Administrators on updated bank account information, capital call/distribution notifications and reporting;
Data entry of clients onto databases as well as updating contact and bank account information
Manage group mailboxes (as assigned) and phone line utilized for communication with both internal groups and external investors/counterparties
Draft and coordinate the distribution of client communications
Assist with special projects as assigned
Drive continual improvement via process enhancements
Understand the Firm’s offerings in order to effectively deliver superior client service
Key Requirements / Qualifications
Experience with On-boarding of clients
Experience working with Fund Administrators preferable
Excellent client service skills, including sound business judgment and understanding of escalation procedures
High attention to detail
Knowledge of MS Excel and Word
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaboration, time management, and organizational skills
Able to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Understanding of Asset Management strategies, Investment Mandates and Fund Accounting
