Job Description Summary

Our Project Management department in our London Office is looking for an Associate to join a busy and growing team. The team concentrates on large construction, new build and refurbishment projects across a variety of sectors, but typically Residential, Public Sector, Leisure and Education.

The successful candidate will be brought in to support strategic growth, based on a secured pipeline of work across the next visible years. The candidate will be driven to succeed not only at a team level, but also as an individual with opportunities to develop their own career.

Job Description

An Associate Director assumes a greater degree of independence in planning and executing their role through winning and enabling new business (revenue generating) or providing expert advice in their area of specialty (non-revenue generating). They actively embrace and contribute to the business direction whilst building relationships with clients & stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates a solid level of expertise in their area of specialty

  • Thinks commercially, maintaining awareness of business performance and priorities

  • Proactively looks for and targets new business and revenue opportunities with new and existing clients (revenue generating)

  • Delivers substantial value add to the organisation through their activities e.g. innovation, speed (to market), cost savings, process improvement, implementation of new initiatives(non-revenue generating)

  • Demonstrates respectful demeanor and 'client first' approach when interacting with clients & stakeholders

  • Seeks to understand client & stakeholder requirements as part of delivery

  • Solution focused; providing tailored insights and advice and seeks feedback to improve service; proactively resolving issues before they arise

  • Is open and respectful of the perspectives of others when challenged; adapting approach according

  • Actively creates rapport with team members; strives to develop a strong morale as part of a team
