At WSP, we have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Engineer to join our Liveable Places team in our London office, focusing on parking projects.
YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?
Applying your extensive knowledge of and experience in applying relevant regulations and statutory requirements in relation to parking and traffic;
Applying modern parking and kerbside management policies and approaches;
Experience delivering large parking projects across areas such as design, policy, income generation and service improvement;
Providing your extensive experience in engaging with clients, residents and stakeholders in relation to parking schemes, including hard to reach groups.
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
A relevant degree in Transport Planning or a related discipline;
You will have achieved or be actively working towards Chartered Status;
Extensive experience, knowledge and understanding of parking policy, strategy and design in the United Kingdom;
The ability to write concise reports and present to our clients.
YOUR TEAM
Liveable Places work with a wide range of local authority & private clients from across the UK to help them achieve their place making ambitions. We deliver a wide range of schemes from concept to delivery that include public realm, traffic engineering, road safety, traffic signals, pedestrian / traffic modelling, active travel, and parking. We have had recent key successes with Westminster City Council, West Sussex County Council, East Sussex County Council, Leeds City Council, Cambridgeshire County Council, Richmond Council, Croydon Council, Redbridge Council, West of England Combined Authorities and many, many more.
The Liveable Places team is based in offices across the country with over 200 staff, currently making up the team with further growth planned.
