Citi is looking for full time analysts to join the Markets team in London. Markets at Citi provides world-class solutions that are as sophisticated and diverse as the needs of the corporates, institutions, governments and individual investors we serve in 160 countries and territories. We work on trading floors in over 80 countries, enriching client relationships around the clock. The breadth and depth of our underwriting, structuring, securitisation, sales and trading and distribution capabilities span asset classes and currencies, sectors and industries. And our expertise covers a vast array of products including equities, commodities, credit, futures and FX.

Our program is a highly competitive and selective program that gives you the opportunity to actively participate in the research, trading and marketing of securities to our institutional and corporate client base gaining well-rounded experience and exposure across the Markets business. As an analyst, you will join a training program where you will receive an in-depth education to learn the fundamentals of the analyst role and an introduction to Citi's culture.

We’re committed to teaching you the ropes. Citi’s full-time Analyst program starts in the Summer of 2025 and begins with orientation and training, including an introduction to our Fixed Income, Currency, Commodity, and Equity franchises, across sales, trading, structuring and both macro and quantitative research. You will gain exposure to senior professionals - who will serve as their mentors throughout the program - before joining your team, where you will be immersed in a specific product, best suited to your skills and abilities.

Your time here will look something like this...

  • Collect and analyse macro and quantitativemarket information to assist your team

  • Participate in growth strategies across the product lines, including coordinating client and market data, as well as preparing new ideas to clients

  • Build and utilize your network through a variety of structured training and development initiatives

  • Spend time learning liquidity dynamics by market making and understanding how to manage risks and execute trades across asset classes

  • Increased responsibility and client interaction as you continue to build knowledge and expertise on the program.

We want to hear from you if...

  • You are in your final year of university or have graduated

  • Expected to achieve or have achieved a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in any degree discipline

  • You have an interest in Financial Markets and have expressed this through your prior work experience, extracurriculars and/or choices of modules within your degree preferences

  • Knowledge of programming languages (VBA, Python) is desirableas well as a strong proficiencyin Microsoft Office.

  • You are fluent in a 2nd language (desirable but not essential).
