As a Port Engineer, your key responsibilities will be to manage day to day engine operations and maintenance to ensure vessel system reliability and efficiency. Prepare vessels for both USCG and ABS surveys. Develop critical spares for marine equipment and confirm asset details within our maintenance software. Critical for success is self-motivation, process, discipline and attention to detail.

    What it takes:

  • Valid license as DDE or military equivalent

  • 3+ years working as a port engineer (preferred)

  • 5 years experience serving on a vessel during voyages

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and knowledge of AutoCAD

  • Experience working in diesel and diesel-electric powered engine rooms

  • Knowledge of U.S Coast Guard, ABS, Labor and Industries, WISHA, OSHA, International Maritime Organizations, EPA, and Department of Ecology regulations as they relate to the operation and maintenance of vessels

  • Ability to be available 24/7 for on-call coverage of vessel operations and maintenance

  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
