Responsible for designing innovative signs and creating custom signage solutions for businesses, communities, developments, municipalities, retail, education, and other customers. Prepare comprehensive illustration, sketches, layouts for clients approval. Create prototypes of new lines of production. Inspects jobs for accuracy. Must have comprehensive knowledge of the countless signage material options. This position requires an understanding of the sign-building and fabrication processes for interior and exterior signs like channel letters, light boxes,monument signs, awnings, canopies, pylon signs, and neon signs. That includes but is notlimited to setting up files to be printed and routed: bleeds, drill hole locations, substrate sizes,scaling, and proofing. This position also requires a full understanding between raster and vectoras well as large format printing. Knowledge of computer software VCarve Pro, Flexi Design andNeon Wizard a must. High School Diploma and 2 years experience as a graphic designer in thesignage and printing industry.
