This is a hybrid position
RRD is a global, integrated communications provider enabling organizations to create, manage, deliver and optimize their multichannel marketing and business communications. Pivot is an RRD solution which facilitates electronic delivery and presentation of business communications and allows our clients to manage and track their production print orders. Pivot is a large, highly available, security focused solution. It has customizable consumer facing websites, a multi-module, multi-tenant portal, APIs, Windows Services, Webhooks and more.
Our group functions in an Agile Scrum environment and relies on small collaborative and supportive teams to deliver new features and improvements that rapidly satisfy client needs. Responsibilities: * Participate in team scrum meetings to learn about, analyze and estimate upcoming changes. * Under limited supervision, develop, test, debug, maintain and modify components of the Pivot product and services. * Apply modern and structured programming techniques that adhere to our coding standards. * Use provided utilities and test harnesses to expedite development and testing tasks. * Participate in code walkthroughs and feature validation. * Help create and execute unit test plans and unit test scripts. * Debug and take ownership of previously written code. * Offer assistance in quality assurance efforts.
Qualifications Required Skills: * Within a year of completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.Relevant certification programs are also preferred. * Strong at systems analysis and problem solving along with a professional level of verbal and written communication skills. * An excellent self-learner with a high aptitude in acquiring and mastering new technology skills. * Strong at time management and organizational skills; self-directing within assignments. * Effective in a geographically and culturally diverse team environment with good interpersonal communication skills. * Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
