The Family Place Utah (TFPU) is seeking a self-motivated and trustworthy individual for the position of Receptionist. The individual selected will serve as the integral team member of the Administration Department. This position is part-time, 16-24 hours a week with the possibility of becoming a full time position in the future.
General Description:
The Receptionist is responsible for covering all aspects of the front desk and accompanying office area including receiving phone calls, greeting and assisting clients, accepting donations, assisting in outreach efforts, etc. The receptionist is organized and efficient, takes the initiative in keeping the lobby and front desk area clean, and assists the administrative team as needed. They are professional, courteous, and welcoming of clients, donors, and employees. This position is supervised by the Executive Assistant.
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
2. Loyal, dependable, honest, compassionate, responsible, and has great communication skills.
3. Protects and maintains confidence and confidentiality of restricted or proprietary client and business information.
4. Good judgement and professional demeanor in difficult or stressful business responsibilities, situations, and interpersonal communications.
5. Computer literate, highly skilled in the use of word processing and spread sheet software.
6. CPR and First Aid (Adult, Child and Infant) certified (may be obtained after hire).
7. Have a Food Handler's permit (may be obtained after hire).
8. Able to pass an annual Background Criminal Investigation (BCI).
