Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our friendly, hard-working team.

  • Finance Department - Reporting to CFO, Onsite
  • Full Time, Salary, Exempt
  • Monday - Friday, Days
  • May consider 4 10 hour shifts or possible hybrid for the right candidate after introductory period to allow for greater schedule flexibility.

Who We Are

HVCH is a 25-bed critical access hospital (CAH) with a full-service Emergency Department, Urgent Care, and Surgical Services, as well as many Outpatient Clinics and Services, and a Rural Health Clinic providing Family and Pediatric care services. In the fall of 2023, we partnered with the Logan-Hocking School District, Nationwide Children's Hospital, Hopewell Health and others to build and open the Chieftain School Based Health Clinic to provider greater care to the students in our community. We have over 350 employees who serve the residents and visitors of rural Logan, Ohio. We are nestled in the heart of the beautiful Hocking Hills Region in southeastern Ohio. We are affiliated with OSU Wexner Medical Center and part of the Ohio State Health Network.

Our Desired Candidate Will Have

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • One (1) to Three (3) years' healthcare accounting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting system, ability to work with detail, and good organizational skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.

In This Role

You will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization. Oversee general processes for Accounts Payable and affiliate fiscal services.
