Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team, this position is for various age ranges. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging educational experiences
Create a positive, FUN and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity
Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the individual needs of each child are met
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills as well as to maintain up to Teas Licensing Minimum Standards
Able to lift up to 35lbs
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children
Familiarity with literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and special education strategies is preferred
Familiarity with computers/computer based learning programs
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
