TEC Group Inc Asset Manager Business Analyst in Livonia, Michigan

Job Summary: The Asset Manager Business Analyst will provide support, for the tracking of assets, support purchasing of hardware and software by working with the purchasing team. The role will track contacts for services related to IT services provided to the employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Tracking of quotes, invoices and material that has been ordered. • Receipt of material that was ordered. • Adding/Changing and Removing assets from the asset management system. • Reviewing and approving the invoices received for good and services for the IT Department. • Management of the Cellular devices (Phones, Hotspots and Gateways) within the required portals. • Ordering of Office Supplies for the Department. • Producing ad hoc reports for the assets.

Education and Experience (required): • Associate degree or equivalent college coursework. Education and Experience (preferred): • Bachelor's degree in business administration. • Have a Minimum of 3 Years of business experience.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (required): • Able to speak to users to gather requirements for IT needs. • Able to work with Vendors to get proper quotes, due dates, and shipping dates. • Work with a log tracking system to ensure processes are followed relating to purchasing hardware/software.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (preferred): • Understanding of computer components and software. • Knowledge of Asset tracking system and ERP Systems.
