Job Overview:
This is a Cardiac Technician role based within the Cardio Thoracic Stepdown unit for Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Located in Livingston, NJ, come join one of the best hospitals in New Jersey!
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) required.
Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification Required.
Completion of cardio thoracic step down unit technician orientation modules/class/clinical
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

Essential Functions:
Operates and assists in the monitoring of a patient on the Cardio thoracic Step down Unit.
Administers individualized, professional patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of cardio thoracic step down unit procedures.
Assumes responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during and after procedures under the direction and supervision of an RN.
Executes special assignments with the unit assigned to them by the Nurse Manager/PCC/CC/RN.
