Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Wireless is seeking a skilled RF Engineer I to bolster our national team. In this role, you'll directly report to the Head of Optimization, collaborating closely with various cross-functional teams across the local markets. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimization and efficiency of our wireless network infrastructure nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on RF design and optimization for DISH's groundbreaking standalone 5G network

  • Conduct performance analysis and log file analysis

  • Understand equipment and power configurations

  • Collaborate with RF Management to refine optimization and traffic analysis

  • Develop Macros and scripts for automation

  • Utilize Python, Java, and PowerShell for custom solutions

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Master's preferred)

  • 1+ years of LTE RF Design experience in the wireless industry

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experienced in drive test data post-processing and site database maintenance; familiarity with drive test analysis tools like Accuver XCAP, TEMS, NEMO

  • Proficient in 3G/4G/5G technologies with expertise in NR theory and O-RAN Architecture

  • Strong teamwork, communication, documentation skills, and ability to write and maintain MOPs

  • Python, Java, and PowerShell preferred

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,400.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
