Lockheed Martin Associate Manager - Systems Engineering - Secret Clearance Required in Littleton, Colorado

Who We Are

We are a dynamic team on a recurring multi-year, critical program seeking an associate engineering manager who likes to be challenged, solve problems and help lead a highly skilled systems/test team. You will work directly with domain and industry experts and technical staff that design and implement complex systems.

What You Will Be Doing

As part of the Integrated Engineering Team the selected candidate will be an associate systems/test engineering manager for a group of 8 or more systems/test engineering individual contributors and will also contribute to executing the systems/test engineering activities shoulder-to-shoulder with those same team members. This manager will be responsible for the following:

• Coordinating direct employee recruitment & selection

• Assisting in employee mentorship and training, performance discussions and recognition

• Applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools for systems/test execution throughout the development life cycle

• Cultivating and growing the Systems/Test Organization

• Inserting Digital Transformation initiatives into systems/test execution (DevSecOps, Software Factory, Agile, MBSE, Test Automation)

Along with management duties, the candidate will have a technical role on the program as a systems/test engineer utilizing their technical expertise in support of the systems development and integration of advanced system. Responsibilities will span the hardware, software, and technology development life-cycle and include the following:

• Be responsible for developing test procedures, defining requirement verification methods, integrating products as part of a large ground system, troubleshooting errors and work closely with Software and Hardware engineers as part of an Agile Team.

• Support requirements and verification and coordinate regularly with external customers to maintain program objectives

• Utilize requirements and MBSE tools, work with area leads and functional experts across the program to define requirements.

• Assist engineers with defining the future architecture roadmap for integrating, testing and deploying future capabilities.

• Interaction, planning and coordination with multiple discipline engineering/maintenance teams for technical issues.

• Strong organizational, written and communication skills.

This position could also involve travel (up to 15%) to customer facilities for integration and deployment events.

Basic Qualifications:

- Active/Current DoD Secret Security Clearance.

- Has held a technical role on C2Ground, SigRecon, or EAGIL program.

- Experience leading and contributing technically to fast paced development projects.

- Systems Engineering lifecycle experience (Requirements, Architecture, Test)

- Technical Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 9 years of professional experience; 7 years of professional experience with a Masters degree, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with software development

- Experience with MBSE Tools

- Experience with software testing

- FSL leadership experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
