Setpoint Systems Corporation Account Manager - North Denver Area in Littleton, Colorado

ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are looking for a self-starter, organized, highly focused, fast paced, competitive, and a great communicator who enjoys working in a collaborative/team environment to manage and oversee a profitable and rewarding base of loyal customers.

In addition, the account manger will pursue new, retrofit and upgrade/expand building automation/system integration projects through assigned mechanical contractor and consulting engineers.

I.             MARKETING

A.           Provides input into the sales strategy.

B.           Provides input into the Company’s target market.

C.           Provides input into the Company’s product and service promotions.

D.           Provides input in determining the Company’s product mix.

E.            Assists in maintaining, implementing, updating and developing the direct mail campaigns.

F.            Assists in maintaining, expanding and updating the customer mailing list.

 

II.           SALES REPORTING

A.           Provides weekly proposal activity reports

B.           Provides weekly sales call activity reports.

C.           Provides weekly sales disposition reports.

 

III.          SALES

A.           Is responsible in developing and generating prospective Contractors and Consulting Engineers.

B.           Is responsible for performing contract negotiations.

C.           Is responsible for maintaining continual contact with personally developed contractors and consultants and end users.

D.           Is responsible for maintaining continual contact with assigned Company contractors and consultants and end users.

E.            Responsible for developing and achieving personal sales and operations goals.

F.            Responsible for performing regularly scheduled lunch-and-learns on Setpoint Systems products and services to contractors, consultants and end-users.

G.           Is responsible for preparing all proposals and bids, following Setpoint System’s processes, procedures and standards.

 

IV.          SALES - PROJECT ESTIMATING, TURNOVER AND SUPPORT

A.           Estimates all projects utilizing the Company estimating system and procedures.

B.           Provides input to the improvement of the estimating system.

C.           Provides information for the MIS

               1.            Labor estimates.

               2.            Material estimates.

               3.            Contract information.

D.           Is responsible for performing complete project turnovers to operations after receipt of approved contracts following company procedures.

E.            Is responsible in reviewing engineering drawings at the 30%, 90% and final drawings with the Operations and Engineering departments following company procedures.

F.            Is responsible for reviewing and approving engineering re-estimates with the Operations and Administration departments following company procedures.

G.           Assists the Operations and Administration departments in the collection of unpaid invoices, if required.

H.           is responsible for performing lessons-learn on all projects that have been completed following company procedures.

I.             Assist in providing support to Operations with assisting customers.

 

V.           MISCELLANEOUS

A.           Assists in maintaining, implementing, updating and training the Company held training classes, i.e., Delta Controls, pneumatic, HVAC, etc., classes.

B.           Assists in maintaining the company estimating system and Setpoint Resource Center information.

C.           Is responsible and will assist in developing, reviewing, disseminating any and  all personal and company email/video marketing material.

 

Desired Qualifications include:

  • BA or BS Strongly Encouraged Business, Engineering, and/or:

  • 2+ years’ experience in building control systems.

  • Working knowledge of DDC, electric and pneumatic control systems;

  • Analytical and organizational skills.

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.

    Preferred Credentials: 

  • LEED GA/AP

  • CEM

  • PE and/or association with ASHRAE

    Extensive product training will be provided and required

    Base Salary $50,000 - $85,000 + Commission / Based on Experience
