As a CNC Programmer you'll be responsible for programming, setting up and operating our CNC Machining Equipment.

Program, setup and operate CNC Machining Equipment - using SolidCAM

Program and design 3D models for fixturing, jigs, and holding devices for new incoming business

Drive efficiency projects

Check parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications using proper gauges; calipers, bore gages, micrometers

Assist and train CNC Operators Your qualifications

Journeyman/licensed machinist preferred and/or 8+ years' experience running/programming CNC machines. Experience with HAAS machines a plus

Experience setting up and operating 4&5 axis machine centers. Must be versed in rotary or indexing capability as the application applies to the Vertical Machining Center

Understand X axis, Y axis and Z axis clearance and tool statements to the Vertical Machining Center

Experience editing and troubleshooting programs using G-Code

Good understanding of all machining principles including but not limited to surface speed, chip load, general speeds and feeds. Thorough knowledge of basic cutting tools such as end mills, drills, taps, and slitting saws

Experience with lean manufacturing principles

Ability to work with all levels of employees throughout the company along with outside vendors/contractors Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs What you'll get in return...
