Job Title: Supply Chain AnalystJob Description

Summary The primary role of the Materials Planning Analyst is to manage and allocate materials within a continuous improvement environment to ensure timely delivery to customers while minimizing inventory investment. This involves promptly releasing requirements based on customer orders to support manufacturing needs and coordinating with suppliers on delivery schedules. The analyst will actively support and strive to achieve the strategic goals set by themselves, the facility, and the client. Job Responsibilities Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: - Efficiently plan and execute work orders to support daily operations, including reviewing material shortages and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials for production, as well as responding promptly to MRP planner messages. - Determine order points, appropriate order quantities, safety stock, and related inventory controls; evaluate deviations from standard guidelines on assigned parts and recommend alternative actions if production schedules are not met. - Support daily production and communication meetings; inform supervisors and shop floor personnel of material shortages that negatively impact production plans and schedules. - Ensure accurate planning of material and capacity, investigate current and potential material shortages, and implement corrective actions. - Identify and implement opportunities to improve On-Time Delivery while reducing inventory investment. - Participate in identifying, communicating, and resolving supplier issues through the development and maintenance of ethical supplier relationships that encourage new ideas and ongoing cooperation. - Maintain and project inventory positions that meet asset management goals and minimize the risk of product obsolescence. - Manage Part Activation activities and Change Management policies, including executing Engineering Change Notices (ECN), updating computer records, and evaluating changes in inventory and customer requirements influenced by the ECN.

Hard Skills

  • General knowledge of manufacturing production flow

  • Experience using MFG/Pro (or equivalent ERP software)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Power BI, and PowerPoint

Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This is a contract position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Searcy, Arkansas.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a continuous improvement environment, actively supporting manufacturing needs, and coordinating with suppliers. It also includes participating in daily production and communication meetings and maintaining ethical supplier relationships.
