Manager Trainee — Quality
(Travel and Relocation Required)

As a Manager Trainee – Quality with BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of global leader Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, you will learn and work in a structured management training program. You’ll build leadership skills that set you up for future growth, while receiving step-by-step training on how to rigorously monitor quality at our plasma centers. Upon completion of the program, you’ll advance into the role of Quality Manager Representative at one of our 175+ and counting U.S. locations. Each year, we’re opening dozens of new plasma centers, which means there will be doors opening to new career opportunities for years to come.
Your work will help produce medicines for patients with rare diseases.
The high-quality plasma our donors provide is used to create lifesaving and life-sustaining therapies for people with rare and chronic complex diseases. Your attention to detail, the ability to apply the quality-related skills you’ll learn, and your collaboration with BioLife teammates will ensure your success in this program now and into the future.
A typical day for you may include:
Career Growth & Development: Your development program lasts approximately 12 months. Upon completion, you’ll have an additional six months to advance into a QualityManagement Representative position. You’ll receive training and 1-to-1 support and engage in mentorships.
Learn Quality Leadership : During the program, you’ll learn the business and industry, and build your skills by contributing to regulatory compliance, donor suitability, product release, inspection readiness, employee training, continuous improvement, and people development.
Contribute to Creating Life-Changing Medicines: Maintaining our exceptional quality and service standards is key to creating life-changing medicines. You’ll develop the skills to meet production and cost goals while ensuring compliance with regulations and BioLife SOPs.
Travel Opportunities: Through our comprehensive company-paid travel package, you’ll visit BioLife locations across the country. You will build your network while learning from BioLife team members at different centers, and be able to return home every other weekend.
Supportive Teamwork: Foster an inclusive team environment with a group of diverse individuals. Collaborate and communicate with team members at all levels of the organization.
Exceptional Customer Service: Create a positive donor experience and maintain donor satisfaction. Assist with production as needed.
Relocation: After completing the program and being promoted into a management position, BioLife will help you to relocate to one of our 175+ locations around the U.S.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent amount of leadership experience (approximately 1 year)
Live near a BioLife Plasma Services center or be willing to travel more extensively
Willingness to relocate to one of the 175+ BioLife center locations upon program completion
Up to 85% travel
Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Have a valid driver’s license for the entire duration of the program
Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
Ability to frequently lift up to 32 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
Due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with SOPs, GDP, GMP, CLIA, and the FDA
Experience working in a highly regulated environment

U.S. Base Salary Range:
52,800.00 - 72,600.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
