The Role

Montrose is seeking an accomplished and visionary Finance Director, Contract to Cash to establish and lead our CoE for contract lifecycle management within the Southeast finance department. This is a newly created role in which you will build and lead the CoE team. In addition, you will be responsible for developing

and implementing best practices, processes, and tools to optimize contract lifecycle management across the organization.

The role reports to the Vice President, Montrose Environmental Services Finance.

About You

The ideal candidate is a finance professional with deep expertise and experience leading delivery of the end-to-end Contract to Cash process. A transformer with strong business acumen, this leader has driven process standardization and continuous improvement within a CoE or business services environment. Leading with energy and a can-do attitude, they work collaboratively and have a track record of bringing people together to drive decision-making and enterprise change. The ability to think strategically and communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders are also imperatives.

Scope

The scope of the role is comprehensive, with a remit that encompasses every aspect of Contract to Cash, from design all the way through operations.

Specifically, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Take responsibility to establish and lead the Contracts Center of Excellence, de?ning the vision, goals, and roadmap for the CoE in alignment with organizational objectives

Build and lead a high-performance team that delivers the Contract to Cash services to meet or exceed SLAs for timeliness and accuracy and deliver annual savings

Develop and implement standardized processes, templates, and best practices for contract creation, invoicing and contract maintenance within our ERP, and monitoring to ensure e?ciency, compliance, and risk mitigation

Provide guidance and support to accounting and ?nance professionals and project managers across the organization, serving as a subject matter expert on ?nanc al processes and contract management best practices

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure contract performance,

?nancial impact, and compliance, and provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management

Engage senior stakeholders throughout the enterprise to build understanding of customer and business requirements, develop solutions for contracting that meets requirements and balances risk, deal effectively with escalations, and serve business needs, converting input into delivery of Contract to Cash services

Drive change by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Sales, Operations, and Compliance, to ensure alignment on contract terms, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance

Build an understanding of Montrose markets, strategic business units, and deliverables along with industry trends and competitive strategy outlook in order to create robust contract offerings aligned with business needs

Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in contract management and ?nance, and incorporate best practices and innovations into the CoE\'s strategy
