ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company Cloud Application Engineer in Little Rock, Arkansas
Responsible for Operations and Maintenance of key development technologies streams for the service line multi-tenant and multi-cloud production-computing platform. In order of importance, must serve as an Administrator and SME for Jenkins, BitBucket, CircleCI, and JFrog. This role has the responsibility of adhering to the security and privacy requirements within AFS security trainings and within relevant Accenture Information and Security Policy and Procedures such as AFS-0090 Policy on Privacy and Personal Information and AFS-0056 System Security policies.
Responsibilities
Administration of several cloud application development tools for internal project clients: Jenkins, BitBucket, CircleCi, JFrog. Includes patching, certification renewal, vulnerability remediation, upgrades, security compliance, and other responsibilities required for continual operations.
Contribute to design and execute implementation for simple to complex cloud application solutions that may include multi region (potentially multi cloud) DR, high availability, complex application clustering, CSP service integration, identity and access management, advanced networking
Implement configurations and integrations for internal projects to connect with the central applications supported. Includes plug-in install and solutioning with architects to provide centralized components/tools/integration points for use by the project user base.
Gather and analyze data from multiple platform services to proactively plan and report on application capacity and licensing. Then provide recommendations based off trends (i.e., extend storage, purchase additional user licenses, etc.)
Support or collaborate with cloud management teams: Identity and Access Management, Security Groups, CSP native services and ensure alignment with CMPS supported technologies.
Provide inputs to application teams to ensure architecture meets environment security, audit compliance, performance requirements.
Must be available and participate in a weekly on-call schedule rotation. Must respond to P1 outages of application as needed. Must resolve Tier III level application tickets for enhancements, troubleshooting, and support requests.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (STEM) or an additional 4 years of experience
4+ years’ experience troubleshooting and debugging Microsoft Windows and Linux based operating systems in an administrative/support capacity
Amazon Web Services (AWS), Oracle, or Microsoft Azure cloud provider experience for virtual deployments, hosting, and migration
Advanced experience in large scale system cloud architecture, design, and integration with a focus on infrastructure (operational support), storage, automation, networking, and virtualization
Experience in developing basis of estimates and level of effort estimates for both implementation and sustainment scopes
Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, and networking
Bash shell, PowerShell, and/or Python scripting experience
Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar configuration management tools
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as an Administrator supporting any of the following applications backend in a CSP. In order of importance - Jenkins, Bitbucket, CircleCi, JFrog.
Cloud application/service Administrator experience
System recovery techniques, performance tuning, NIS, troubleshooting
RHCE/RHCT/CCEE/CCIA certifications
Understanding of networking and exposure to firewall configuration
Experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, DOD IL4, IL5 and/or IL6 security controls, continuous monitoring and assessment & authorization and other federal security standards and guidelines.
Experience with federal government clouds. In order of importance - AWS GovCloud, OCI government and Azure Government Cloud provider
Bring a high sense of urgency for all tasks
Strong multi-tasking abilities and able to provide timely responses
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to coordinate, prioritize and complete tasks within schedule and with little direct supervision
Compensation Ranges
Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
