Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team at various levels. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment. Each level of maintenance technician holds specific responsibilities and requires different levels of experience and expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Expedite tools and material to and from the site.

  • Detect and locate faults in equipment and facilities.

  • Make minor repairs and assist in making major repairs.

  • Follow lubrication schedules.

  • Disassemble, reassemble, and replace worn and broken parts on mechanical equipment.

  • Install new equipment under supervision.

  • Rebuild equipment, troubleshoot all equipment, and handle general repairs.

  • Understand and work with electrical wiring diagrams for single and three-phase motors.

  • Perform sheet metal fabrication, welding, filing, and machining as needed.

  • Work with refrigeration, ammonia, and freezers.

  • Work from prints, take field measurements, and make readable sketches or diagrams.

  • Successfully meet established KPIs.

  • Accurately complete all maintenance documentation and work orders.

  • Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities, and develop solutions.

  • Apply technical skills and perform complex tasks in the area of expertise.

  • Train other maintenance techs and production staff.

  • Ensure safety, environmental, and quality compliance.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in Food Manufacturing is strongly preferred.

  • Prior experience in industrial maintenance.

  • Journeyman card for lead maintenance roles.

  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and repair.
