Responsibilities Provides excellent service to customers at the counter, phone customers and the service department Provides recommendation for sales of additional related or needed parts or accessories Processes in-store orders in a timely and accurate manner Completes orders by communicating with customers on pick-up or delivery status Locates and?obtains merchandise for customers, whether in-stock, out-of-stock or non-stocked merchandise Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receipting-in of shipments and assisting with placing parts orders in their proper inventory locations; assisting in cycle counts; following up on inventory discrepancies and expediting issues by reporting to department manager Assists with maintaining professional showroom image and merchandise displays? Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 pounds Completes training required for the development of skills and knowledge? Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities? Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion Maintains a clean, professional personal appearance Reports to work on time Employs good time management skills and the ability to work independently Demonstrates good work ethic Communicates effectively one-on-one and in groups Maintains a positive and professional working relationship and works cooperatively with co-workers and management Exhibits a constant commitment to customer service? Promotes the service department to customers including service work, inspections, and parts Completes training required for the development of skills and knowledge Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products? Follows all safety rules and regulations
