Amergis $20 / Cook in Lisbon, North Dakota
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cook to prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of foods, some of which require special techniques, for hospital patients, employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
Prepare a large quantity of a limited number of entrees, vegetables, and desserts according to preset menus.
Prepare, season, and cook a wide range of foods – from soups, snacks, and salads to entrees, side dishes, and desserts.
Create recipes and prepare meals, peel and cut vegetables, trim meat, prepare poultry, and perform other duties, such as keeping work area as clean as possible at all times. Follow a cleaning schedule for designated equipment and storage areas.
Other Cook duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Basic communication skills (full command of the English language).
Ability to perform manual labor (up to 25 lbs).
Able to stand for long periods of time and move around at a brisk pace.
Able to work in cold/hot environments.
Ability to perform line cooking.
One year cook experience preferred.
