ManTech Senior Information Systems Security Engineer in Linthicum Heights, Maryland
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Information Systems Security Engineer to join our team in Linthicum, MD . The position is part of a team that provides systems engineering in the Linthicum location and will provide Cybersecurity Analysis and Cryptographic Engineering technical expertise.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The Senior Information Systems Security Engineer participates as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams and applies knowledge of IA policy for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
The Senior ISSE will provide expertise in complying with Systems Security Certification & Accreditation (C&A) processes, to include discovery meetings, achieving Interim Approval to Test (IATT) and in obtaining final Approval to Operate (ATO) status for Systems Security Plans (SSP) associated with all mission systems to gain successful accreditation as well as manage all security relevant changes to the mission systems, assuring SSP documentation is up-to-date and ATO status is maintained.
Perform/review technical security assessments of computing environments for non-compliance
Validate and verify system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs
Design, develop, implement and/or integrate IA and security systems and system components including those for networking, computing, and enclave environments
Assist architects and systems developers in the identification and implementation of appropriate information security functionality
Support the building of security architectures
Enforce the design and implementation of trusted relations among external systems and architectures
Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle
Contribute to security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities for system and networking operations
Review certification and accreditation documentation and provide feedback on completeness andcompliance of its content.
Minimum Qualifications/Capabilities:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
14 years experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
In lieu of a degree four (4) years of additional ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Security Clearance Requirements:
- Current and active TS/SCI with polygraph
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (50% of the time) and operate computer equipment and office machinery. Regular communication with co-workers, management, and customers.
