Antenna Test Engineer
Job Description
Programming software in C/C++ or MATLAB to automate test fixtures. Develop test software in a Nearfield and Compact Antenna Range. Create software programs to automate tests. Troubleshoot RF issues during the testing of advanced antenna systems. Support technicians with troubleshooting and training. Analyze test data and identify early trends. Support program meetings to develop root cause and corrective actions. Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements.

This is a fully on-site position in LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, Maryland.
Work Environment
The candidate needs an active secret clearance to start and must be eligible for SAP. The position is for a weekday 1st shift (M-F) that requires a Secret Clearance to be considered and start, AND the candidate must be eligible for SAP. The role involves working in indoor and outdoor Antenna Test Range at the BWI campus. Engineers will collaborate with RF design engineers to create test equipment and automated test software for RF products testing. The environment is mixed, working in a lab and at indoor/outdoor ranges. The work will primarily be on cleared programs. The lab operates 24/7 with multiple shifts needing coverage to transition work from the first shift to the second shift.
