Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Linthicum Heights, Maryland
Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, Maryland, United States. The ideal candidate will be tasked with handling all aspects related to invoicing, credit card reimbursements, and processing invoices.
Responsibilities:
• Handle and process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly.
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed.
• Work on invoices that fail during the automation process and understand the errors.
• Handle the reconciliation of company credit card accounts monthly.
• Request refund checks for open credit balances
• Reconcile the list of void transactions related to checks issued during prior fiscal years.
• Create and generate reports for management as needed, ensuring data appears to be accurate and reasonable.
• Play an active role in system changes and upgrades by attending project meetings and gathering functional specifications.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Proven ability to reconcile bank accounts
• Experience in processing refund checks
• Ability to create and present detailed reports
• Experience in payment processing
• Proven track record in reconciling vendor statements
• Demonstrated skills in reconcilement
