A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Each day, our route drivers pick up raw materials and then our plant processes them into finished goods. One of the many jobs of the administrative assistant is to keep track of everything that comes into the facility. You need to have a good head for accuracy and be detail-oriented - everything needs to balance out to the exact pound daily. You'll also answer phones, handle daily incoming/outgoing mail, assist with customer calls, handle accounts payable purchase orders, vendor set up and inquiries along with communicating with other locations and departments via scanning and email.

To thrive in this position, you'll need to be comfortable with technology and have a good command of Microsoft Outlook and Excel. We also use Oracle E-Business Suite to connect us to our customer base, use Microsoft Teams to communicate internally and externally, and a handful of other tools to keep us all connected and efficient.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must either have 2 years of work experience using Outlook and Excel or have completed coursework for these programs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

In addition, you will need to be able to do the following:

  • Frequently lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Use solid customer service skills.

Two years of experience in an accounting position would be a plus. If you can communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, and stay organized using good time management skills; you might be a great fit for this position - apply today!
